MATT FRKOVIC
Matt is the founder of the 10-78 Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing mental, spiritual, and practical support to law enforcement officers who have been involved in critical incidents and officer-involved shootings. With over 12 years of experience in law enforcement in Saint Charles County, Missouri, Matt has served as a canine handler, Deputy U.S. marshal, and been assigned to an ATF task force in St. Louis.
His journey took a pivotal turn in November 2022 when he was involved in an officer-involved shooting. This incident illuminated the gap in resources available for officers recovering from such critical incidents. Motivated by this personal experience, Matt established the 10-78 Project to ensure that no officer navigates the aftermath of such events alone.
